In late 2006 ActiveCheckout.com(another Canadian Company) purchased and took over operations for StomataCommons.com. In doing so ActiveCheckout.ca was launched directly for it's Canadian Clients.

By taking over Stomata Commons all former clients were moved to ActiveCheckout's top of the line servers, were introduced to a more advanced billing system and now have the ability to receive 24 hour support via their new ActiveCheckout help desk.
